Back To School Again
I can't believe the summer is over. Where did it go? Time to start another school year. Good luck boys. I know you will do well. Thank you to their teachers for all that they do!
Bryce - my big 4th grader now. He is too cool to smile. What a wonderful school. They teachers had a band playing, streamers, etc. to welcome the kids back. What a welcome back!
Had to beg for this pic of my 7th grader, Grant. He is saying, "really Mom". But, at least he still humored me :)
Well, since I took pics of the boys' first day of school, I thought that I would post a pic of what, my about 4,500th day of work. There was no band or streamers that welcomed me when I walked in the door. Can you believe that? Oh, well. The boys said their first days were great!
One Last Hurrah
With back to school shopping done and back to school open houses completed it is time for some relaxation so, what did we do? We headed to the JW Marriott Grand Lakes in Orlando with friends for some fun, golf, swimming, shopping, food, drinks, and RELAXATION!
The girls and I doing what we love best, laying by the pool. Ahhh!
Bryce chiling in the lazy river with a Will Rogers Drink in Hand (the male version of a Shirley Temple)
After a hard day of golf and swimming, time to relax by the firepit. I want one of these at home! Where are the s'mores?
Bryce begging outside of Starbucks to try coffee. No, Bryce - no coffee for you.
What a great way to spend the last weekend before school starts. Head to the JW Marriot Grand Lakes-Orlando. Location is great - very close to Sea World and is situated and associated with the Ritz Carlton. The rooms were standard size but, nice. The bathrooms were huge. The pool area and lazy river were awesome. The food was pricey but, average tasting. The ammenities were great. Lots to do for kids and adults of all ages. Would I go back? Of Course. I have to try out that spa! Here is a link to their website: www.grandelakes.com/
